English- Japanese Translator 

I am native Japanese and lived in the UK for about thirteen years – as a result I am completely bilingual in Japanese and English (verbal and written). Along with my teaching job, I have nine years professional experience as a freelance translator. My translation work has included FIFA’s website, Apple’s iTunes app, as well as a large variety of copy on a wide range of subjects and media.

Coordinator / Interpreter

I coordinate shooting and assist the director for a Japanese television program. Within this, I am the primary coordinator and liaison for all English and Dutch language items, from research and bookings through to production.

Japanese Language Teacher

I have been teaching Japanese as a foreign language for ten years, and developed my teaching skill here in Holland. For the last three years, I have been teaching at Business Language School in Rotterdam, alongside work as a private tutor for business candidates. Having studied Japanese literature at university in Japan, I’m well equipped to introduce you to Japanese language and culture in a useful and knowledgeable way.

Despite Japanese being an infamously difficult language to master, my background and experience give me the capability to help you tackle the language confidently and effectively.
